For the most part, the markets that have been added such as Toronto and Seattle have made the league stronger. If the league continues to expand into markets that love soccer with strong ownership groups, there shouldn't be any issue with collapsing teams. In terms of talent dilution, the academies should be churning out players in a few years. The Vancouver Whitecaps are already starting to reap the benefits of their youth development system. Who can forget the ridiculous number of teams in the old NASL which played a large part on the lead imploding on itself.
