I'm sure many veteran stars would rather finish their careers in Los Angeles or New York (or anywhere in the US) than in Qatar, which is the current final resting place for many players. I'm not bashing Qatar, but guys like Beckham would rather be in the US. I don't think it will make the league better soccer-wise, but it should attract more fans.
