Of course I'm a DC fan and I like the Concacaf Champions Cup. And the race for 8th interests me because we get to see if we get cannon fodder or Chicago for the first round. Leaving the first choice strikers was an ok choice for Chivas because Galindo was out on accumulation and Razov had a slight injury which the coach didn't want to play on the crappiest crap turf ever. Although, I didn't check to see who played in this last Houston game. Also, Chivas left their first choice strikers in Cali yet still won their game (for Gallindo, it was a forced rest anyways). That just tells me they both care about the Supporters Shield AND winning the MLS Cup. In it to win it. Slow and steady, etc etc etc. Love that team.
