Rapper ‘The Game’ Ready to Kick David Beckham’s Ass
By: Bob | January 11th, 2007I can’t say that I am all that familiar with the music of the rapper who calls himself The Game (I’m guessing he doesn’t do Barry Manilow covers), but I do know that he is one opportunistic dude. Fresh on the heels of the announcement that David Beckham will be playing soccer for the LA Galaxy come summer, The Game has issued a challenge to play Becks in a one-on-one match since, you know, soccer is best played one-on-one. Says Jayceon Taylor, whose clearly prefers to be known by his street cred-approved moniker: “I’d kick David Beckham’s ass on any given day. I’d just pick the ball up and kick the s**t out of the stadium, game over.”
Surely this challenge will be front page news in papers across the United States tomorrow, right? Nobody else is talking about the Beckham deal, right? Let’s take a stroll around the Blogosphere to find out.
