POLL: Mark Hughes
By: Dave Martinez | December 20th, 2009
Hours after a rousing 4-3 victory over Sunderland, Mark Hughes was terminated as Manchester City’s manager. The writing has been on the wall for some time now. With an immense investment made this past summer by the new ownership, more was expected from the great Scot Welsh Great than two wins in eleven fixtures.
In his place? Former Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini, who becomes the first boss under the new management.
On the day the team moves up to sixth, Hughes is cut down to size. Our question to you is this: was it justified? Is it reasonable to expect more with Tevez and Adebayor at your squads helm? Or does the teams efforts speak positively for Hughes himself?
Take part in this weekends poll and let’s find out!
Were Manchester City justified in firing Mark Hughes?(answers)
