News from Romania: The not so Friendly Skies

It is well documented how dangerous it is nowadays for football fans and players to travel through airports. Now you can add airplanes to the places to avoid. Fans of the Romanian team Dinamo Bucharest got into a little rumble while flying home from their team’s UEFA Cup draw against Club Bruges last week. The fight, which is being investigated by the authorities, caused damage to the plane seats. “The incidents were provoked by a few of the team’s drunken fans,” the club said in a statement.
Drunk fans? Really? Who would’ve guessed it? How can you possible get drunk on those little bottles of airplane booze?
