Barry Robson Scores With His First Touch for Celtic

Last weekend was popular for players scoring with their first touch. There was 19 year old Alberto Paloschi scoring for Milan with his very first touch of the ball in Serie A, but there was also Celtic midfielder Barry Robson.

Robson joined The Bhoys from Dundee United just as the January transfer window was closing, and came off the bench for his debut against Aberdeen on Sunday. Sixty-three seconds later he stepped up to curl home this free-kick with his first ever touch in a green and white hooped shirt, as Celtic walloped the Dons 5-1. Great work by Robson and great work by the fan who caught the moment on video.

Naka's also gotta worry about his "replacement" Mizuno in the wings as well. This type of competition can only help the Bhoys!

Robson is making a very serious play for Nakamura's starting spot, and the competition can only be good for Celtic, as well as for the Scotland NT, where Robson might also play an increased role if he keeps up form.
