Boruc has a Right to be Cross with Diving Giggs
By: Bob | September 14th, 2006
It is always fun to watch a game in which Celtic keeper Artur Boruc plays. The Polish international isn’t one to hide his emotions and watching him piss and moan on the pitch is as good of a reason as any to watch Celtic matches. One of these days he is going to truly lose it and we’ll enjoy every minute of it.
During yesterday’s Champions League match between Boruc’s club and Manchester United, the keeper was in good form yelling at his teammates, himself and, of course, the referee. He was most upset when he was called for a take down of Ryan Giggs in the penalty box that led to a penalty spot goal for United.
“For me it was never a penalty, so I was angry,” said the 26-year-old. “I tried not to touch him, and he just dived. It looked like he dived. I am upset, and so are my team-mates.”
After checking out the replay of Giggs’ Swan Lake act below, we happen to think that this is one time that Boruc has a right to be cross.

It can’t possibly be a dive. Only Ronaldo dives!

“Swanee, how I love ya how I love ya, my dear old Swanee!”
Cue the music each time Giggs hits the pitch. At least he didn’t roll five times. Of course, then they would have had to bust him.
