Feeling Extra Romantic? Get Hitched With The Bianconeri

1206085116_juventuspinbadge0405.gifIt’s often said that women have been planning their wedding day since their days as a young girl. You know, the big wedding in the big church with thousands of people and flowers growing out of the pews and a gorgeous dress and some guy who can whisk them off to fairy tale land and a priest who isn’t an Elvis impersonator. It’s the old cliche. Well now, thanks to Juventus, little boys can do the same and those little girls can have their dreams crushed.

Juventus is planning on hosting weddings at their new stadium starting in 2011 - presumably not during the games, though that would always be fun. Only requirement is the bride’s gown must be black and white striped and say “My husband is only #2 in my heart, Alessandro Del Piero will always be #1″ somewhere on the back. No word as of yet whether Del Piero will be allowed to perform any ceremonies, but one can only imagine how much scrilla that would bring in.

Other rumored details provided with the weddings:

- A free Fiat for anyone who can beat Gianluigi Buffon to the bouquet.

- Claudio Ranieri reserves the right to substitute in anyone at any point during the ceremy, including the bride and/or groom.

- If you object to the wedding you get two-footed by Momo Sissoko.

- If it’s a really, really great ceremony, Mauro Camoranesi will cut his hair.

- David Trezequet might show up, but only during the reception when he can be served.

- If someone gets cold feet Vincenzo Iaquinta will come in to recue the day. Don’t ask how.

- The clergyman can be hand-picked, you just have to call the coordinator, Muciano Loggi.

- If Vincenzo Iaquinta can’t save the day, for a small fee Pavel Nedved can take a dive in the aisle and distract the audience while the broide or groom makes a clean getaway.

But if you’d like to travel to Italy and get yourself hitched, just remember: getting married in calcio’s prison is not a recipe for fidelity.

Craven Cottage hosts weddings too. No word on whether you can also get Carlos Bocanegra to be your best man.

Black and white striped dresses? So that means she’s technically a virgin, that is if you don’t count the other intercourse?

    Just like real Juve players.
