also, chris’ point about linking an exceptional pirlo with another (top notch) creative partner should not be overlooked. a totti-esq influence is exactly what la nazionale needs most right now. quite simply, the azzurri cannot score goals at the moment, at least not consistenly. god help us if luca f*^&!%g toni goes down before the euros.

i agree that if they don’t want to play, they should not be coerced into playing, or otherwise pressured. but please, respect their decisions, recognize their past contributions, and leave them be. there is no need for donadon’tknowshit to be bashing players he has never even coached. drop it don, be professional and focus on your current squad. it is infuriating how bad he is.
