Roma hopes survive, Milan one match from missing CL

With all the attention focused on Premier League D-Day, the penultimate round of Serie A competition may have been hurting a bit for neutral viewers. What it was not short on was drama and surprises, and next week’s final day in Italy is now set up to be no less important and emotional than today’s in England. With today’s 2-2 draw with Siena, and Roma’s win, Inter now has only a one point lead for the Scudetto. Meanwhile, AC Milan went down hard today to Napoli, 3-1, which along with Fiorentina’s win by the same score puts the Champions League holders out of CL qualification. In fact, it was only Udinese’s loss today that guaranteed Milan will even go to the UEFA Cup, but that is now in the bag for them, as 6th is the lowest they could drop.

Is this the goal that took Milan out of the Champions League?

Note: the goal video got deleted (lame), but here’s an almost equally cool video of the commentators. That is a legitimately happy man.
