The Romantic’s Celebration

In stark contrast to, oh, a number of goal celebrations – Robbie Fowler, lookin’ at you – this one from Fabio Simplicio is of the more chaste variety: good father, good husband, good celebration.

Of course since this is football and all, the commentators were rightly fraught with fright as he thundered into the stand, ready to bring the Stadio Olimpico to scenes of complete chaos by confronting a fan. Or possibly eat some cake.

No matter. Just a smooch for the wife and kid. The next progression, of course, is to father another one in celebration. It’s going to happen someday – don’t worry.
