Cristiano Ronaldo Wants the Shirt Off Raul’s Back

Not really. He just wants his number. Raul’s move to Schalke means his famous Real Madrid #7 shirt is up for grabs, and Cristiano Ronaldo made sure he was first in line. During a press conference in Los Angeles (where Real Madrid are training), the artist temporarily known as CR9 had this to say:

“I would like to have the number ‘7′ shirt and I’m sure Raul would be happy if I had it because he knows how I am and how I think.”

You may remember that Ronaldo wore the #7 at Man Utd, and that he has trademarked both “CR9″ and “CR7″. I’m sure Raul will be perfectly happy for Ronnie to take his number, but I’ll bet the Real Madrid merchandising department will be ecstatic at all the new Ronaldo #7 jerseys they’re about to sell.
