Frank Rijkaard’s Employment Status “Outed”

I don’t know whether to laugh, cry or throw myself off the end of a building because the apocalypse is surely upon us. Some guy who works with Frank Rijkaard has thrown Frank under the bus and declared he’s going to be leaving his post because Frank is going to be leaving his - you know, the one that involves coaching Barcelona. On a blog for the charity that he works for. So Frank’s employment status, or lackthereof, was announced on the blog of a charity. Nice.

Would now be a good time to put sports journalists on suicide watch?

Here’s the message from the blog which puts the banana in banana shrimp sandwich:

“Until now I am lucky that the company Samhoud pays me a monthly scholarship until December 2008 and apart from that I work for Frank Rijkaard who especially gives me a lot of free time to work on Teaming. But as Frank will leave FC Barcelona within a couple of weeks my job for him will also end.

“He told me that he will always support Teaming with his name and image but logically I have to look for another ’sponsor…’”

I don’t even know what to say about this. It’s no secret Frank doesn’t have Sir Whiskey Nose’s job security at the moment, but what the hell was this guy thinking? Even if Frank stays on, I’m pretty sure the Barcelona hierarchy is going to have BIG issues with this and, in turn, Frank.

Which is bad news, because Joan Laporta don’t take no shit and he’ll slap you, bitch:
