dhaw- a lot of players lie to the fans and i’m not saying kaka is god, but at the same time, i’m sure kaka’s biggest fans (milan fans) aren’t mad at him for this. if kaka was purely moving for money, then he would have gone to city. plus you may think that milan will spend the money in a stupid way (which i completely agree with you) but you can’t deny that this transfer did give them a CHANCE to do better

momoney and williamhill- this is bad for serie a but def not the end of it. just like ronaldo leaving the premier league would hurt revenues and talent to an extent but would not destroy it or the same if messi were to leave la liga. kaka is the face of serie a but now there will be a new face within the next couple of years. italian football is too strong with their young talent to not rebound from losing their top player (remember zidane left from serie a to real madrid too). all these league supremacy things run in cycles.

Dhaw, you are crazy man. This episode makes Berlu look much, much worse. Do you know how hard that is to do since he owns half of the media?!

Kaka has consistently backed up his words with actions and Galliani and Berlu made it clear that they wanted to sell him. And if the figures are right, he is earning the same amounts that he was earning at Milan.

Even after he left, he could have endeared himself to Madrid fans by saying he always wanted to go there, but his first words were he didnt want to leave Milan but had no choice.

He wanted to be captain and he wanted to stay for ever, but what he wants is made irrelevant when the management make it clear that he must leave to make space for Berlu’s precious ronaldinho.

I can’t wait to hear what Platini has to say. After all, he was a leading critic of Man City’s pursuit of Kaka because it was “too much money” for one player, particularly in such a difficult economic climate. I wonder if he’s already preparing his comments on how base and disgusting it is that Real Madrid are spending so much money on Ricky.
