Marco Senna Has Some Serious Range

By: chris | April 28th, 2008

You know a goal must’ve been fantabulous when it makes the Sportscenter Top 10 and makes its way down to the number one spot. In a game against Real Betis yesterday, one which saw Villarreal move to second place in La Liga, Marco Senna feckin’ uncorked one from just inside his own half. He’s no Xabi Alonso, but still. Damn impressive.

    Top top quality.

While we’re mentioning stunning strikes, has anyone seen Franck Ribéry’s top corner missile this week-end?

what a strike that is! senna is a player i’ve always rated - he was so close to a move to manchester united a few years back but it never quite happened for him. still, should be playing champions league football again next season nonetheless.
