The Next, Next Maradona’s Hand of God Goal

By: Bob | October 15th, 2006

Way back in April, I started half jokingly calling Sergio Aguero the Next, Next Maradona. Well, the Atletico Madrid wunderkind is starting to live up to the nickname. Witness the above goal that he scored this weekend to help his team defeat Recreativo Huelva 2-1. Makes you wonder why God’s hands seem to favor those Argentine strikers so much.

Can’t believe they allowed that goal to count. It was obvious. Aguero should show more class than to celebrate a goal that was obviously illegal. He might be young and good but he needs to respect the game more than that.

it is terrible that goal was allowed to stand. aguero was in position to head it in. i can’t understand why he used his hand instead but i guess he got the result he wanted from it.

Typical, they seem to get away with anything. I hope the guy watches and watches that clip and sees what a cheating ass he made of himself and then to have the cheek to go celebrate kissing his jersey!! I hope his team mates realise what a cheat they have on their team.

Argentines are never lacking when they need to show what little class they have on the pitch.

But, hey, not everyone can be Brasilian.

Sickening to see young players have so little respect for the game and so few brains in their head to think they can get away with crap like that in this age of the video replay. It was so blatant. The right thing to do by his club would be to suspend and fine him, but snowflakes have better chances in hell.

I think all of you guys are a bunch of haters. You only wish you could be him, 18 years old, playing in one of the most competetive leagues of the world, and in one of the best clubs in that league. Don’t be envious, and stupid assholes. He got the win, a win is a win, and you only focus on this incident, bunch of idiots, we need players with heart. C. Ronaldo is another great example. Let them be full of themselves, they are great, and young, and you wouldn’t even think twice about switching your lifes for theirs. Plus the guy can play, stop concentrating on this, and actually see him play, i bet none of you actually follow this, atleast not enough to watch the games, if you did, you would know that shit like this happens, SHIT HAPPENS!!!
