0.59 was a clear step on the ankle he wasnt even trying to play the ball, like the rest of the fouls. 0.39 maybe that was a bit light but apart from that every other foul was intent to take him down and not play the ball. Real Madrid are just pathetic

god’s day off: Man, I was secretly hoping for some fireworks. Maybe the video is unrepresentative, but mark my words. 0:59 probably is a step on the ankle, but it looks like Messi was already buckling before the challenge actually came in.

it was painful to see, i can’t imagine how Messi felt.

The tactics worked however, and Messi was out of the game, and his usual tricks for quite a long time.

so i’m gonna go ahead and side wi messi here. ak- ur problem might be more wi the video which shows a mix of minor fouls, unintentional fouls that u see every game, and then the dirty stuff especially from gago and sneijder. and at 0:59 sniejer just stands on his ankle- not a lot of contact but it would have really hurt

This is going to get shot down quickly, but what the hell. In amongst the legitimate kicks and some manhandling, there were some SHOCKING dives in there. I’m pretty sure Ramos didn’t even touch Messi at 0:39, 0:59 was an epic, and I invoke the 3-roll-rule for the first one.
