This is a most excellent short on a man unknown to the masses, but can still inspire a moving expose the life he’s dedicated to football. Even rarer is that it can be done with what is mostly the spoken word and a sequence of photographs set to a subtle, moving soundtrack. It’s hardly the type of film you expect from the internet, with a blaring background at hyperspeed set to the trickery of the world’s biggest stars, and it’s all the better for it.
It’s like the schoolyard all over again.
Except for the teeny tiny detail that these gentleman are making massive wages and playing in the Champions League knockout for a reputable club from one of the world’s biggest leagues.
