Photo: Harry Redknapp and the Curse of the Badly Timed Ceremony
By: Daryl | October 28th, 2008
This would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. In easily the wort timed ceremony of the year, newly minted Spurs manager Harry Redknapp was given the freedom of the city of Portsmouth. No wonder he looks embarrassed.

And Harry was even greeted with chants of “Judas” by the Portsmouth citizens at this ceremony. Sooooo awesome. Made my day.

Really he should have mentioned this to Spurs, and delayed being made manager untill tomorrow. It would have only seemed bad in retrospect then.

Its ok, he’ll probably be back there in 6 months claiming he loves Portsmouth and never wanted to leave in the first place.

Portsmouth fans…why do you boo Harry Redknapp? You’d have nothing without him. And I mean nothing. Redknapp has brought you silverware and the foundations of a successful club and all you do is boo him. Show the man some respect.
