a) palestine is not even an organized nation to have an organized army to put down their guns, it’s called a terrorist orginzation within the gaza strip

b) if the israelis put down their guns there would be peace.

i support this… in the big picture football is nothing but a game, there are more important things in life to care about… like the pointless killing of innocent civilians and children and the outrageous discrepancy in death toll numbers.. like 1,000+ to maybe 50… its sickening how the world has seemed to turn a blind eye..

people say israel should protect its citizens, but at what cost? by killing mostly innocent civilians? with 1 in 3 of the death toll being children..

Bombing Gaza, assaulting it with tanks and uzis, it’s like shooting a soccer ball into a goal made out of the atlantic ocean. Gaza is an occupied land..More than 1 million people squeezed into 140 square miles hemmed in on all sides by 25-foot-high walls separated by a vast expanse of bulldozed earth..almost sounds like a concentration camp to me…

his teammate – pini balili – one of israel’s better strikers – was actually already in the dressing room… awkward.

but regardless of political leaning, i think we can all agree that israel needs to do what it can to protect its citizens from terror attacks. just as any other nation – world cup quality or not – would do too.
