Photo of the Day: Seven is Sweet

By: Ian Rose | May 17th, 2008

Fred and Kim Källström celebrate Lyon’s seventh straight Ligue 1 title with a 3-1 win at Auxerre, and are now one game away from the first domestic double in club history. It was a crazy day in France, with goals galore and battles for Europe and relegation coming down to the wire. Inara’s Lyon blog has the latest.

Awww. You posted this photo just to get on my good side, didn’t you?

P.S. I still think Fred looks like a younger version of Monk.

Stressful season? Try being a Celtic fan! Looking cheery now though! Have a soft spot for Lyon after knocking out the Huns in the CL. Knowing how hard the attempt for Celtic to get three in a row is this year, credit to Lyon for such dominance. I sympathize with their French colleagues as I don’t think I would have liked living during Rangers 9 in a row, but would have fancied Celtic’s 9 in a row…
