Photo of the Day: The Calm After the Storm in Cali

Yesterday, Chris showed us a photo of the riot at the Pascual Guerrero Stadium in Colombia, where fans of America de Cali and Deportivo de Cali went at it and 80 people were wounded. Not cool, America and Deportivo fans, not cool.

So here’s a slightly (but only slightly) more optimistic angle to maybe restore a little of your faith in humanity. It’s down on the pitch after the fighting has calmed down, where one America de Cali fan (don’t ask me how I know who he supports) sits patiently while medics tend to the injured. Hopefully he’s thinking “damn, that was stupid.”
