Weekly Poll: Who Will Win Euro 2008?
By: Laurie | May 9th, 2008It’s time for our weekly “Who Will Win Euros” Poll.
Last week’s vote was close, but in the end it was Germany who won out with 18% of the vote. Italy was a close second with 17%, followed by France with 15%. Don’t like those results? Round up fellow fans of your team and get them to vote in this week’s poll.
Happenings this week that may affect your vote:
- Netherlands released their provisional squad list. And Jonathan de Guzman isn’t on
it. - Austria has revised its squad.
- Slaven Bilić announced his Croatian squad, and he has signed a new contract.
- France is relying on old guys. But Thierry Henry is coming on strong, with three goals in the last two matches for Barcelona.
- Poland has made some cuts.
- Turkey has postponed their squad announcement. Does this mean that Hakan Sukur will be left off the roster?
- Czech Republic will definitely be without the Little Mozart
Have you processed all of that? Then it’s time for your vote.

A few weeks ago I dreamed that Portugal won the Euro. Stupidly I’m not sure if my subconscious is a football expert or not…
