A Name to Remember: Fernando Gago

When you have FC Barcelona and Real Madrid both chasing after your services you have to be a player with a wee bit of skills. That is the case with Fernando Gago, a 20-year-old midfielder who currently earns his paycheck from Boca Juniors.

Gago made his debut with the Argentine giants at the tender age of 17 and furthered his name with a standout performance for Argentina at the World Youth Championship. He has drawn comparisons to former Real Madrid star Fernando Redondo.

Gago, who was linked to Chelsea about this time last year, is likely to make his move to Europe sooner rather than later. I expect the sweet dribbling midfielder to end up at Real, but whatever team lands him is going to acquire a player with the star potential.
