Arguing with the Guy Carrying your Stretcher isn’t Advised

Normally when you are injured on a football pitch you would look forward to receiving a ride to the sidelines on a stretcher. That wasn’t the case this weekend for Colo Colo’s Alvaro Ormeno in a Chilean league match at Huachipato.
Ormeo was being taken off on a stretcher with his team holding onto a slim 2-1 in injury time when he got into an argument with one of the stretcher bearers. Like any good medical professional would do, the stretcher bearer decided to have the last word by dumping the injured Ormeo to the ground. This didn’t set too well with Colo Colo manager Claudio Borghi who attacked a cameraman trying to film his rage. Borghi was sent off for his actions. The stretcher bearer was not punished.
Unfortunately the Chilean teenagers haven’t gotten their act together yet to put this incident up on YouTube but we’re sure that is just a matter of time. In the meantime, the video below does a nice job of capturing what it is like when a player is ceremoniously dumped off a stretcher.
