Brazilian Teams Brawl in the Dressing Room, Airport

By: Bob | November 2nd, 2007

There isn’t a whole lotta love between the Brazilian clubs Atletico Paranaense and Gremio. Following a testy match on Wednesday, the brawl in the video above (no need to watch after the 1:00 minute mark if you don’t speak Portuguese) broke out in the locker room after Atletico Paranaense midfielder Claiton’s post-match interview was interrupted when a Gremio player aimed a karate kick at his head. Evidently the clubs still couldn’t get enough of one another and following a script from professional wrestling they fought later at the airport.

The irony is, the whole time they were doing this, their fans were playing a peaceful game of football.
