Amazing few minutes with all those headed goals.

Not sure Memo has faded – he was always a tad over-rated… one of those “look at me! look at me!” keepers..

Andy Gray also used to score a fair few with his bonce… i remember him getting down to use his head a few inches off the turf in his day ……

Yeah… apologies for that. Clearly Cabañas goal was with his left foot (great strike too.) Seems that watching five headed goals caused me some sort of mental meltdown that made every goal look like a header. The post has been corrected.

This was a great game, but being a River Plate fan, it was tough pill to swallow. I dug the pace of the match but jeebus, there was some really poor defending on both sides of the ball. Either way a great match to watch for the impartial footy fan.

cabanas goal was with his left not head…check the video…this has to be one of the greatest games ive seen in a while..since chelsea/barca in champions league in 06…great game

Actually the game winning goal by Cabañas, was with the left foot.

Very good result for America. Memo Ochoa showing signs of bad form recently. Hopefully he gets back with it.
