Entire Team Sent Off In Argentina

By: chris | March 24th, 2009

Ah yes, South American football. Considering what we expect out of their top flight football normally – technical skill, stepovers, guns, knives, etc. – Argentina’s third division should be something truly special, and they don’t disappoint.

The two squads are Barracas Bolivar and General Lamadrid. Barracas, the home team, were up 3-0 when some of their fans started heckling the Lamadrids. Three players and four coaches went over and defended their honor, or something. Pandemonium/excellence ensued, and the referee decided to send off the entire General Lamadrid team.
