Flamengo Keeper Bruno Bends Home a Free Kick

By: Daryl | April 25th, 2008

Flamengo were already qualified for the knockout stages of the Copa Libertadores, but the Brazilian side topped the group with a 2-0 win over Coronel Bolognesi of Peru. The best moment of that game, easily, was Flamengo keeper Bruno scoring his first professional goal with a free kick, above.

With the score at 0-0, Bruno calmly stepped up and (with very little run up) bent the ball into the bottom right corner. Cue joyous celebrations, especially from the commentator.
