Forced into goal, Millonarios midfielder Ricardo Ciciliano saves a penalty

Those of you who are lucky enough to live without short-term memory loss will recall that a few weeks ago Chelsea defender John Terry was forced into goalkeeping duties during the final minutes of his team’s match against Reading. Terry wasn’t tested in goal and lived to see another day. In Colombia this weekend, Millonarios midfielder was forced into a similar situation when first choice keeper Juan Carlos Henao through injury and his replacement Jose Fernando Cuadrado was sent off for a professional foul.

Ciciliano not only was tested, but his penalty save in the 82nd minute sealed a 1-0 victory for Millonarios over Independiente Medellin in the semi-finals of the league cup. His save, which is actually a pretty handy one, is in the video below.
