It is always a Good Idea to Let the President’s Team Win

With a lot of leagues on international break this week, political leaders have been left to fill the football void. Today’s photo-op features Bolivia’s newest number 10, President Evo Morales, playing against those hapless international journalists. Morales probably had first pick when they were divvying up the squads. His team won 11-1. Let’s hope his goalkeeper isn’t shot for letting in that lone goal.

Meanwhile, you might be wondering how British Chancellor Gordon Brown spends his days now that he is expected to become Britain’s next prime minister. Like any good politician, he is shoring up his constiuency by helping a player go to a third division Scottish side. Under his ecomomic recovery plan, Brown’s campaign promise is that his beloved Raith Rovers will be playing in the Champions League in a couple of years.

Thanks for the pics! Bolivians are good soccer players so Im not surprised that Evo's team won!

I am offended with the goalie being shot comment, since this is written by an American I expect nothing less!
  • It is unimaginable the possibility of Gordon Brown, a SCOTSMAN, becoming Prime Minister of the UK. God help us. Its bad enough having Tony Blair in charge with all his 'stealth' taxes... and you know what a Scotsman is like with his money.

He will more like 'launder' OUR money to Forfar LOL LOL!!
