Keep your Resume Nearby when you take this Job

_help-wanted.jpgWith three games remaining in their season, the Brazilian club Fortaleza has already been relegated to the second division, but that doesn’t mean they won’t come out on top of the league in one category: most coaches fired. On Tuesday, the club named Daniel Frasson as their seventh coach of the year. I’m not sure whether he celebrated or he cried when he heard that news.

While Fortaleza has gone through its share of coaches this season, they are not alone. Fluminense and Sao Caetano have both employed six coaches. With three more games left there is still plenty of time for them to fire and hire some more so this dubious race is really heating up.

Besides the revolving door of coaches, Fortaleza does have another thing going for them. They have a player named Marcos Pereira da Silva who happens to go by the one-name nickname of Dude. Marcos Pereira da Silva has now suplanted Fred as my favorite player from Brazil.
