Nike Tells Us Neymar Is Quick.

By: chris | April 14th, 2009

The latest Brazilian Name To Remember Neymar – the ‘new Robinho’ – is mighty talented. So much so he’s still got a Nike viral despite sporting braces and an involuntary baritone to soprano quiver. He’s also mighty, mighty quick – hence the whole ‘new Robinho’ thing. But is he talented and quick enough to put on his shoes, walk over to a ball, juggle it, boot it high up in the air, sprint to the box and touch it in the net without allowing it to hit the ground? I’d certainly say so, though some cynics may disagree considering Nike’s track record. Though I also would tend to agree this wasn’t cut number one…

Still, kid’s an immense, immense talent. Now if only he’s the new Robinho in physical talent alone, he’ll be all set.

Meh, I can’t see this as the real deal.

Seems to me we should be able to see the ball fall past some of the buildings in the background. However, no matter how closely I look, I can’t see anything. The ball just seem to materialize over him.

    CG I say, CG.

Nike should seriously consider sacking their advert dept. and go back to the one that made ‘the cage’ and ‘brazil vs. portugal’

Not to mention the fact that he punted it in a completely different direction than the way he ran.

the reason he ran in a different direction then he kicked the ball was because he curved it.
