Pato and Diego Support Ronaldo in that Transvestite “Misunderstanding”

I have always believed that it is under adverse circumstances that one discovers who one’s true friends are. Like mistaking transvestite prostitutes for the real thing.

Ronaldo may be on the verge of losing both his girlfriend and his Nike sponsorship in the wake of that little trannie incident, but at least he can count on the support of his buddies Diego and Pato.

Pato, the young Milan phenom-in-the-making, has this to say:

“He is still my idol,” said Pato. “He is a great friend. He’s relaxed and now just has to focus on healing his knee injury. He needs to get better and return to playing football.”

“He’s relaxed.” Um…yes. Right. No comment. Moving on.

What does Diego have to say?

“I admire Ronaldo very much so, inside and outside the field,” said the Werder Bremen star. “He was always my idol and I am cheering once again for him to return to the fields asap. I imagine that what happened was a big misunderstanding.”

I think we can all agree about the “big misunderstanding” part, yes?

And I think we can also probablly agree that we need to get this man back on “the fields,” stat. Because the thought of what might come next otherwise?

Truly scary.
