Racing Fans Toss Crutches In Protest

By: The Offside | April 20th, 2012

I know a lot of people who’ve used a pair of crutches at some point in their lifetime. I don’t know anyone who uses them as a fashion accessory. Typically, outlandish though it may seem, they’re required to walk.

Racing fans saw this whole walking business as less important than voicing their displeasure at the team’s current patch of form. More Racing fans than you’d suspect, really.

The guilty parties will also be easy to find – they’ll be the ones sitting in the stadium long after everyone else has left. (It’s entirely possible this was choreographed beforehand with crutches being brought in from home. I prefer to live in a fantasy world in which fiery, footy-based impulses overrode basic logic.)
