River Plate Goes Bannaners

By: The Offside | October 9th, 2012

For some reason, an 8km River Plate banner was deemed an appropriate usage of time, resources and infrastructure. Presumably some people in Buenos Aires – like the ones who needed to get to work – felt differently at the time. But it’s a world record, and that’s the important part. I think.

One question lingers: how is this thing stored? Do they need to pay rent on an entire warehouse now? Or are they now going to break the world record for world’s longest bonfire?
