Ronaldo Makes His Long Awaited Return

The jokes have been made, the fun poked – with surely much more to come – but it’s fantastic to see one of the true greats of this generation – easily its greatest striker – make his return to the game after what looked to be a career-ending injury over a year ago. It was only an “unspectacular debut” and it’s pretty much guaranteed we won’t see anything close to vintage Ronaldo spectacular ever again, but that’s still more than many expected out of Ronaldo just months ago.

But even better? It looks like Ronnie has been doing his cardio…..

It wasn’t all good, however. With reporters eager for space amid the pandemonium that was Ronaldo’s post-game interview, Ronnie got poked in the eye with a microphone (3:00 in the vid) and is now sporting a fashionable black eye. Some guys just have all the luck.
