Superclasico: River Plate vs. Boca Juniors

Let the chaos begin. River Plate fans line up (sort of) to get coveted tickets to this Sunday’s Superclasico tilt against archrivals Boca Juniors, who lead the series with 113 victories, 90 draws, and 93 losses. Boca currently is on top of the table but River is right on their heels. The derby between the two most successful clubs in Argentina football history rivals The Old Firm in intensity and attending it has been named one of the 50 things you must do before you die.

Les digo que boca siempre fue hijo de river solamente tuvieron una racha en los 90's y nos llevan solo 4 partidos de ventaja, hace 5 años que no ganan en el monumental y su ultima victoria fue en el 2005 en la bombonera y si contamos los ultimos torneos de verano river los supera ya que les gano los dos clasicos, ademas en argentina river es el gran campeon con 32 titulos de afa.

Los bosteros todavia llenan la tribuna porque son todos bolivianos, peruanos y paraguayos ilegales.
No entiendo como pueden ser del club mas grasa y amargo q hay en la argentina. el ejemplo ma claro es ver al Sr. Maradona q va a palcos vip pero se comporta como un animal desbocado.

The Old Firm is the best derby match in the northern hemisphere due to its history and religious devide. It has calmed down in recent years, but Rangers still sing anti-catholic songs and recently got caught singing "F*** the Pope", so it is very passionate. I am travelling to Argentina in a year or so and would love to get a ticket for the game. It looks awesome.

I will be attendding this years boca vs, river match. i hear that reserved tickets are sold out but i got mine at "futbolargentinoenvivo.vom" so u can try there. boca vs. river is the best match in the world because they have the most dedicated fans that eat and breath soccer. Im am for boca......................

What is the best way to go about getting tivkets to the game? This year the match is at Boca Jrs stadium. Thanks for any help!!

It has to be in the top 2 of the derbies to see. I can understand the Old Firm being up there for some, but for me El Clasico (Barca-Real Madrid) at the Nou Camp is number 1. Would be nice to do a tour of some of the big derbies, though: ManU-Arsenal at Old Trafford, Inter-Milan, Chivas-America in Guadelajara.
