The World’s Best Team and a Heck of a Plane Ride

Who says the FIFA Club World Cup isn’t exciting? In addition to laying stake to somewhat dubious claim of being the best club team in the world, the winning captain – in this case Internacional’s Fernandao – apparently gets to fly the team plane home while hoisting a trophy out the window. I can only hope that the captain of the plane I am flying on tomorrow has mad skillz too. For those who follow this event, here is the predictable post tournament story about how the competition doesn’t really determine the world’s best team. Just don’t tell that to Interacional’s fans who are still flying high following their team’s victory over Barcelona in the final.
