Special1 TV: Best of 08/09
By: Daryl | May 31st, 2009As all popular comedy series’ eventually do, Special1TV has put together a “clip show,” featuring the best moments from the past season. Unlike most clip shows, this one actually works.
Have to admit, I fully expected SpecialTV to wear itself out sometime this year, but Mario Rosenstock and co. have kept the quality impressively high, mostly by mixing the obvious (jokes about C-Ron) with the absurd (Puppet Ronny).
The nine clips in the best of are as follows:
1. The Boy’s Berbatov Appeal.
2. Managers on the dole (including It chasing “the blur”)
3. The Jerry Springerish bit.
4. The best “Shut up” moments.
5. Robbie’s story.
6. Sven as the “Pulp Fiction” gimp. (”Ameobi is not a film Dave”)
7. Sven as Carlos Tevez.
8. Puppet Ronnie’s Westend Workout
9. Arse-shaven (love The Boy’s reactions)
If I had to pick a favourite? The Berbatov Appeal. Just for the way Wayne pronounces it.
