Africa Cup of Nations at World Cup Blog

Muntari celebrationAll 16 Africa Cup of Nations teams have now played once each, so the cycle starts again and we return to Group A. Hosts Ghana already have three points in the bag and should add another three today against a demoralized Namibia, who still have sore bottoms from the 5-1 spanking Morocco dealt them. The other game should be a bit closer. Guinea lost to Ghana only thanks to Sulley Muntari’s last-gasp wondergoal, while Morocco will feel confident after their 5-1 win. Another loss for Guinea and it’s over, so expect a big performance from key man Pascal Feindouno. We’ll be covering everything that happens over at World Cup Blog.

    Who is your favorite team?

I cheer for Cameroon and Ivory Coast.
    Go Drogba and the elephant.
Go Eto’o and the indomptable Lions
