Africa Cup of Nations Final at World Cup Blog

By: Daryl | February 10th, 2008

Egypt CameroonAfter three weeks of brilliant attacking football, long range goals, Samuel Eto’o breaking records and Nigeria not being very good, it’s the Africa Cup of Nations Final today. It’s the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon versus the Pharaohs of Egypt in what should be an excellent game of football. Cameroon knocked out host Ghana in the semifinal with some resolute defending and a nice bit of counter-attacking, while Egypt stunned the much fancied Cote d’Ivoire and their fearsome forward line by outscoring the Elephants 4-1.

We’re LiveBlogging the big event over on World Cup Blog and getting very excited about it. There’s also a full preview and links to internet streams of varying legality if you want to actually watch the game instead of just waiting for poorly informed lines of text to appear on your screen.
