Sulley Muntari’s Left Foot is Better Than Yours

By: Daryl | January 21st, 2008

Ghana came very close to disappointing the 40,000 home crowd at Accra yesterday in their opening 2008 Africa Cup of Nations opening game against Guinea. But with score at 1-1 in the last minute, Sulley Muntari did this and sent the crowd wild. Sweet sweet strike from Muntari with his increasingly famous left foot (he’s been banging them in for Portsmouth too) that gave the Guinea keeper no chance. And the only way you can’t love that team celebration is if you’re a Guinea fan.

The other two goals (Gyan’s penalty for Ghana, Kalabane’s headed equaliser for Guinea) can be seen on World Cup Blog as part of our sister sites in-depth African Cup of Nations coverage.
