Salomon Kalou Shows Us What He Can Do

By: Daryl | January 22nd, 2008

The Chelsea man blows hot and cold in the Premier League, but at the Africa Cup of Nations yesterday Salomon Kalou embarked on this slalomesque dribble through Nigeria’s defence to score the only goal of the game. 1-0 to Cote d’Ivoire and a huge blow to Nigeria’s confidence. Not to mention their plans of topping Group B.

The rest of yesterday’s action is available for your viewing pleasure at World Cup Blog, where you’ll find Morocco manhandling Namibia 5-1 in Group A and Mali scraping out a fairly fortunate 1-0 win over Benin in Group B with a Fredi Kanoute penalty.

    needless to say: WOW!
That’s one of the best goals i’ve seen in a long time; congrats to all the boys from Cote d’Ivoire!
