i’m not saying adriano’s handball should’ve been allowed. i’m saying you should nut up and say your team should’ve been able to get the job done with or without the help of the refs instead of being hapless pussy weasels crying about how things didn’t go your way or how you were unlucky. that’s not italian football, that’s fans of italian football acting like jackasses because their “passion” gets in the way of seeing their own team’s faults.

erm, have you watched inter play at all in the past few seasons? If you you would have seen some of the decisions that are in their favor. Its mind boggling. Its not just little stuff either.

no, mike, you clearly have no idea that no game is reffed perfectly, that errors is made in every single match (sometimes very costly ones), and that everyone else outside of fans of calcio and serie a realize this as well. it happens to everyone…maybe the italian league deserves more scrutiny, but honestly i think it’s more paranoia and a circular victim mentality. if your team didn’t win they didn’t do enough to win, regardless of the refs. no italian teams were good enough this year in the cl and on every blog on this site for them there’s been at the VERY LEAST ONE whinging on about how they got screwed by the refs. not everyone is out to get you, you’re just not friggin good enough. find a better way to deal with it.

Sorry Inter have gotten two soft titles matt.
You clearly know nothing of Calcio and Serie A, because the referees (and their errors) pretty much make and break the games week in and week out, and recently the refs haven’t been too good (or honest)

italian team gans can’t get by a loss without whining about the friggin ref. take your loss(es) and go lose your league to inter…again.

The ref. was fair and the players from Roma are lucky not to be dealt more harshly by the ref. for kicking and hands to faces that were never called. The penalty also not as it seems if you carefully and unbiasedly look at the replays.
With that said Roma was the better team “TONIGHT” !
and Arsenal lucky to steal one in Rome.
Very poor decision by Wenger to start with Eduardo in the shoot out. I thought Toure or Denilson would have given Roma the victory but quite surprisingly they delivered. Had baptista buried those two golden chances
you wouldn’t be whining about the Refereeing.
Again to make it clear Arsenal very fortunate and lucky to go through the next stage.
