Chelsea vs Barcelona Champions League Semifinal 2nd Leg LiveBlog

By: Daryl | May 6th, 2009

We all know what happened in the first leg. Chelsea famously “parked the team bus in front of goal” ™ (plus got a bit lucky) and left the Camp Nou with a 0-0 draw. Now it’s time to find out whether the Guus masterplan involves doing the same thing again at Stamford Bridge.

Let’s hope not. Barcelona’s attack is – without argument – the best in the world right now. But their defence is – without argument – not. Especially with Carles Puyol and Rafa Marquez missing. So if Chelsea are prepared to go forward then we could be in for a good old fashioned end-to-end goalfest to decide who meets Man Utd in Rome. But that’s only an if.
