Didier Deschamps Struggles With Schweinsteiger

By: The Offside | March 23rd, 2012

As an integral component of not one but two of the world’s best teams – Germany and Bavaria Munchen – Didier Deschamps probably has a handle on Bastian Schweinsteiger’s capabilities as a footballer as well as his name. That didn’t stop him from having a minor stroke when pronouncing it earlier in the week.

This is calling for Bastian to score a belter of a goal in their Champions League match before running over to Didier on the sideline and doing the double-thumb point to the name on the back of his shirt.

One can dream, right?
