Liverpool - Atletico: People Loving People

It was UEFA Senior Advisor William Gaillard who once said “we know what happened in Athens and Liverpool fans were the cause of most of the trouble there”, and implied they were the worst fans in Europe. He was a jackass then and he’s a bigger jackass now. Hats off to both of these fandoms for showing sportsmanship isn’t exclusive to the pitch.

  The article you linked to is over a year old - you should have gone back further to the late 1980’s Liverpool v Juve in Belgium, Heysel Stadium.
