My Offside Favorites of 2007
By: Laurie | December 27th, 2007
The end of the year is a time for looking back at where we’ve been. And where I’ve been is… Well, mostly here. Since its birth a little over a year ago, this site has been my favorite place to waste productively spend my time.
Today I decided to take some time to share a few Offside posts from the past year that I thought were interesting. Because seriously, where else would you find this stuff?
Marco Materazzi “must have a weakness somewhere.”
A beer pipeline would make everything better.
The best part of getting struck by lightning on the pitch? The interviewers sticking microphones in your face as you lie on the ground.
And of course you wondered which players made the most money in 2006.
All about the World’s Glitziest Pub Team, Hollywood United.
Oliver Kahn wears pink and carries a man bag.
Oddest goal celebration ever.
Freedom of expression? Not in America.
Blood and beer! What a promo idea!
Sure they can win a title. But can they drink their weight in beer? (Damn, Bob wrote a lot of beer posts.)
Support your team by dying.
Without the gun, it’s just another soccer photo.
Top ten goals of the Champions League group stage
Let’s hear it for the little guys of Etoile du Sahel.
I’m not sure what I find more disturbing about this post. That Beckham never wears the same pair of underwear twice, or that people want to buy the underwear he’s already worn.
All the English Fabio Capello will ever need.
